Water Use License Application Public Participation
As per the directives of the Department of Water and Sanitation regulation No. R267 of the 24 March 2017, Parsons Power Park in engaging the members of the public and all competent authorities in a Public Participation Process with respect to its Water Use Licence Application as per the requirements of the National Water Act 1998 (Act No. 36 of 1998).
Background Information Document
Notice is hereby given in terms of the National Water Act (No. 36 of 1998; NWA), as amended and their associated Regulations of the submission of a Water Use Application (WUA) for the proposed new Parsons Park Solar PV Facility on Erf 5704, Greenbushes in Gqeberha.
Parsons Power Park is in the process of applying for Section 21 (c) & (i) water uses in terms of the NWA. You are hereby invited to a 60-day review period of the Technical Report starting on the 25th of August 2023 and ending on the 25th of October 2023. A copy of the Technical Report will be made available at the link here below for download.
